Power of the spirit (July 21)

Man, so much happened this week I can't think of anything.. half-way through the transfer! Woot! Woot!

Well Charlie is still on track. He scares us anytime he calls us. We're still afraid he's going to cancel on us but he's still so excited for his baptism. We're super stoked! One last lesson tonight and then he's in the clear.

We went on another 2 exchanges again this week. One with our Sisters and another with Leadership Exchanges. I went with Sister Mainess! She's super sweet and we totally rocked it. The training was focused on bringing the spirit into our lessons so we tried something new. We sang in our lesson! Now, I'm not the best singer (which is why I'm grateful for Sister Mainess) but the spirit came in so strong when we truly applied the principles we learned at the meeting earlier. We taught one member family and the father said if he wasn't a member he would want to be baptized right then. We asked if he would close with a prayer and ask, though he already knew, if Joseph Smith really saw God the Father and His Son and if The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints was true. It's a practice we've be extending a lot, to take up Moroni's Challenge (Mni 10:3-5) and pray again to know if the church is true. The father at this time was got so choked up, it took him a while to finish the prayer. It's a real testimony builder to me that one confirmation isn't always enough. Continuing to seek answers is the best and fastest way to strengthening anything.

Well, Love you all and wish me luck on my adventure to save the world!
